About This Spot

Stepping into Panjabi Hut feels like walking into a quiet corner of North India tucked away in Coventry. The pace here is unhurried, inviting you to pause and savor moments over comforting flavors and familiar aromas. Despite its modest storefront, the warmth inside reverberates through every thoughtful detail—from the friendly smiles behind the counter to the gentle clinking of chai cups and the subtle hum of conversation.

It’s the kind of place where the simplicity of a samosa or the heartiness of a thali carries with it a sense of tradition and homeliness. There’s a gentle rhythm to the kitchen’s offerings, a blend of hearty vegan twists on classic dishes, and an approachable variety that feels crafted to nourish as much as delight. Whether you’re wrapped in the soft glow of an afternoon takeout or sharing chaat and sweets with friends, each bite promises a quiet connection to a vibrant culinary heritage.

The atmosphere fosters a sense of belonging rather than rush—here, food is a humble invitation to slow down and share moments. For locals, it’s more than a fast-food spot; it’s a comforting nook where familiar tastes meet kind, genuine service, and echoes of Punjab linger in every flavor. The unpretentious charm and warmhearted service make it a steady favorite for those who crave authentic Indian tastes with a touch of home.

Is a small hole in the wall kind of place but the food is great! Excellent choice of vegetarian north indian food and sweets. The samosas were excellent and so was the chole puri. Lot of streetside parking in the vicinity.

Absolute divine food & great staff. My husband & I just love this place. They have a huge choice of food and their fab vegan pizzas come with an Indian touch. They also make yummy vegan Thali and samosa. Every time we have friends at home, the samosas have got to be from here.
